FAQs for URL Opener

What is URL Opener?

URL Opener is a free multiple url opener web tool that helps you to open multiple URLs/links at the same time with only one click, saving you time from opening them one by one. It opens a new tab in your browser for each URL typed or pasted in the textarea. If you are trying to open too many URLs or links at the same time, your browser may take a few seconds until URLs are open. No instalation required!

Which browsers are supported?

Multiple URL Opener is supported by all major web browsers, including Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Opera.

How many URLs can I open at the same time?

We don't limit the amount of URLs to be opened simultaneously. However, in some cases, your browser could be limiting the amount of URLs opened. Take in consideration that if you open too many URLs, your browser could freeze for a few seconds because of the amount of resources is using.

Does URL Opener save the URLs/links submitted?

No, we don't save any url submitted. All URLs are opened in your browser without interacting with our servers.

How should the format of the URLs be?

You can submit URLs specifying the protocol to be used, such as "http://" or "https://", or without specifying it (in this case, URLs will be open using HTTP protocol).

For example, if you want to open mtp.tools, your browser will try to open http://mtp.tools. Because we want to ensure that you are protected from attackers (such as eavesdroppers), our server will redirect you automatically to https://mtp.tools (using SSL/TLS protocols).

My computer freezes or becomes slower when I open multiple URLs

If you open too many URLs, your computer may freeze or become slower. Don't panic! It's normal. Your computer is creating multiple processes to open the URLs you requested to open, and therefore, is using more resources (such as CPU, RAM memory, etc). The only way avoid your computer freeze (whether is Windows, MacOS or Linux), just close some tabs from your browser or any other program that you are not using.
