What is YAML Formatter?
YAML Formatter is a free web tool that helps you format and beautify YAML. It's easy, quickly and no need to install any software. It supports different type of indentations: from 1 to 4 spaces and from 1 to 4 tabs.
How do I use YAML Formatter?
First you select the type of indentation you want to give to the formatted YAML. This means that you have to select if you want to use spaces or tabs for indentation.
Then, select the amount of tabs or spaces you want to give to the output.
And last but not least, insert the YAML you want to format. The resulting YAML will be outputed below the Formatted YAML label after you press the Format YAML button.
Which browsers are supported?
All mayor web browsers are supported, including Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Opera.
Which devices does YAML Formatter work on?
YAML Formatter works in any device that supports any of the browsers mentioned before. It can be a smartphone, desktop computer, notebook, tablet, etc.
Does YAML Formatter save any of the data I format?
